Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois. The assignment covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, in an ED setting using EPIC as the EMR.

The role requires 2.5+ years of ER/ED experience, current RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. On-call duties and 13-hour shifts are included as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years of ER/ED experience.
• ER/ED experience within the last year.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care per the nursing process in the ED.
• Manage patient care and escalation in emergent situations.
• On-call shifts: 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period, 13 hours onsite within an hour of notification.
