Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a travel assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. This ED RN role runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 11-hour shifts, providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of recent Acute Care ER experience. Travel benefits and credentialing support are offered by MedPro Staffing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage principles to prioritize injuries by need.
• Make quick, accurate assessments of incoming patients including physical and mental health.
