Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED—Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Normal, Illinois. The role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, composed of 12-hour night shifts, and is labelled Travel employment.

Immediate needs include 1–2 years of acute care experience and ED-specific certifications. ER Travel Nurses will work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage and implement care, perform bedside tasks, IV therapy, wound care and documentation while maintaining

Qualifications

• ER Travel Nurse with 1–2 years acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required or to be obtained before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Provide bedside care, monitor vitals and assess patient condition.
• Clean and bandage wounds; perform IV therapy and equipment management.
• Report suspected abuse and document medical history and allergies.
• Maintain supplies and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced ED setting.
