Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED – Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Ishpeming, Michigan. The ER RN will assess, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced ED setting, with documentation and collaboration with physicians.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care ER experience and holds ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications. This travel assignment requires 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and the travel employment type.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required or eligible in Michigan.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Approximately 1.5 years of acute care experience in ER.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage ER patients and implement physician orders.
• Document medical history, allergies, vital signs and care plan.
• Monitor patient well-being and provide bedside care.
• Provide IV therapy, wound care and supplies maintenance.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
