Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse to join the Emergency Department team in Montebello, California for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 36 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift, traveling to fill a critical staffing need in a high-demand ER.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. You will evaluate, triage, and implement care following physician instructions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Ability to manage stress and adapt to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and wound care.
• Administer IV therapy and monitor patients.
• Document medical history and vital signs; report concerns.
• Support triage and physician orders in Emergency Department.
