Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department in Topeka, Kansas. The assignment is 13 weeks, 48 hours per week, with 12- hour night shifts. Travel status reflects a dynamic staffing role with credentialing support and housing options.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, and 18 months of recent ER experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required, with client-specific conditions.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervening and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues
• Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries by medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions
