Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the ED in Topeka, Kansas. This assignment offers night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum 48 hours per week in a hospital setting.

Requirements include an active RN license within 50 miles, at least 2 years of ER experience, and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Epic EHR experience is preferred. The assignment runs 10/14/2026–01/13/2027.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license within 50 miles of the staffing location.
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, all in hand at submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a hospital ER.
• Manage intubation, arterial and central line procedures.
• Perform chest tube management and procedural sedation; interpret EKGs/ABGs.
• Float to similar units as needed during orientation.
