Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Oxford, North Carolina. The position requires an active NC or compact license, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of ER experience.

The role offers 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) across a 36-hour workweek. Travel experience preferred; locals are welcome at standard pay. Comprehensive benefits and stipends are provided.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
• Minimum of one year ER experience with recent work history.
• Two supervisory references required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), three shifts per week.
• Care for emergency and acute care patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Travelers must submit time-off requests in advance for approval.
