Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a travel nurse RN in the ED for Round Rock, Texas. This contract offers a 13-week assignment with 12-hour night shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM), 36 hours per week, rotating weekends, and no call requirements.

The ER features 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, and a 111-person care team. Candidates must hold a Texas RN license and relevant certifications (ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS). Inpatient experience and Meditech exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Texas RN license and active certifications.
• 13-week travel RN contract in the Emergency Department.
• Night shift, 12 hours; 36 hours per week with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in trauma assists and critical interventions.
• Administer medications and perform procedures including EKGs, central lines, and airway support.
• Support behavioral health de-escalation processes.
• Utilize equipment such as Alaris pumps and rapid infusers.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the healthcare team.
