Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Fairmont, West Virginia. This 13-week contract features a 36-hour work week with 3x12-hour night shifts, starting 10/17/2026.

The RN will deliver high-level ED care, perform triage, administer meds, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team. WV license or compact, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and Cerner experience are required; references from recent managers are also needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in Emergency or Trauma.
• Current West Virginia or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
• Must provide at least 2 managerial or charge nurse references from the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Perform triage, assessing patients' conditions promptly and accurately.
• Provide care for patients with critical and urgent conditions.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and prepare patients for procedures.
• Implement infection control measures and safety protocols.
