Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in White Hall, WV. You will rapidly triage, assess, and treat patients in a high-paced emergency department while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

The role requires ER nursing experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and support from a clinical team are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ER RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved emergency nursing techniques and protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department, responding to immediate needs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
