Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Reno, NV. The RN will provide care in a fast-paced ED, perform triage, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while enjoying travel benefits and competitive pay.

Requirements include 1 year ER experience, active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and willingness to travel. The assignment offers 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in the appropriate state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
