Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lansing, Michigan. The contract is for 13 weeks with a 12-hour night shift in the Emergency Department.

You will join a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency providing travel assignments nationwide, with benefits including weekly pay, housing options, and credentialing support. Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of ER

Qualifications

Active RN License
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required for some positions
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting

Responsibilities

Provide Emergency Room nursing care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
Assess, intervene and stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions.
Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health conditions.
