Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The RN will provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced setting, triaging, treating, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and timely interventions.

The role requires ER RN experience, valid RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC). Travel nurses receive competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated support from our clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following emergency nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED and respond to needs.
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice.
• Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment to address deviations.
