Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Charlottesville, Virginia. The ER Travel Nurse will evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced environment, performing duties including bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and patient education.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications and willingness to travel. Weekly pay, guaranteed hours, benefits, and a tax-free stipend are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required
• 2 years acute care experience required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide bedside care and monitor patient vital signs.
• Document medical history and monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Administer IV therapy and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
