Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a 13-week assignment in Virginia. Start date 10/05/2026 with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and travel employment. Requires active RN license, nursing degree, and 18 months ER experience.

Qualifications

Active RN License
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
Knowledged about general as well as specific health issues in urgent treatment scenarios
Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions
