Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in El Paso, TX. This travel assignment is a 13-week contract with a 36-hour week and a night shift of 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, every other weekend.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license (TX or Compact), BLS, ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications, and CPI training within 6 weeks of onboarding. Travel nurses enjoy lodging assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in TX or Compact.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required.
• CPI Behavioral Management training must be completed within 6 weeks of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care for patients in the Emergency Room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient vital signs and conditions, responding swiftly to changes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Participate in patient and family education and support initiatives.
