Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Alamosa, Colorado seeks a Travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment. The role offers 40 hours per week, nights shifts, and travel compensation with comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidate has ER RN experience and active RN license in good standing.

You will deliver rapid-response care in a fast-paced ED, document care in EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document patient conditions and interventions in EMR.
• Take and monitor vital signs and respond to deviations.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure quality care.
