MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Sylva, North Carolina. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 40-hour work week on nights and requires an active RN license and an accredited nursing degree.

Experience in an Acute Care ER of 18 months is required, with possible BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC requirements. Travel benefits include housing, weekly pay, credentialing support, and comprehensive health and life coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent ER/acute care nursing experience.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsabilités

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illness in the ED.
• Recognize life-threatening conditions and provide decisive care.
• Prioritize injuries using triage and rapid assessment.
• Ensure quick and accurate assessment of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
