Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED (Emergency Department) for a 13-week assignment in Gadsden, Alabama. The role requires an active RN license and at least 18 months of ER experience in acute care settings.

The travel RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with benefits including housing/allowance, weekly pay, credentialing support, and health insurance. Start date is 10/19/2026, with client-specific requirements to be determined.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilise trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritise injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health.
• Provide care for patients requiring emergency attention.
