Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. The role features 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

You will provide rapid-response emergency nursing care, triage, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ED environment. Requirements include ER RN experience and active certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED.
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice.
• Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment.
• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocols.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans according to needs in acute care."
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and support staff.
