Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Virginia. The role requires 2–3 years of ER experience in high-acuity settings and 2–3 travel assignments, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications. Night shifts from 19:00–07:00 across a 36-hour week.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of ER nursing in high-acuity settings.
• 2–3 travel assignments completed.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Preferred: ENPC, NRP, NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage patient care, including RSI, sepsis interventions, and stroke protocol with tPA administration.
• Perform central line placement and care for psychiatric patients.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance when transferring patients to other facilities.
• Collaborate with RNs, medics, and charge nurses for optimal outcomes.
