Job summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. The position is a 13-week assignment with 12-hour nights (7p-7a), totaling 36 hours per week, within a 50-mile local radius.

The ideal candidate holds an IA license with 2 years ER experience, recent travel experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and required certifications (ACLS, BLS). Night rotations include holidays and weekends; lodging and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• IA license is required.
• 2 years of emergency medicine experience is required.
• Recent travel experience is required.
• Experience with drips including sedation, vasoactive meds, heparin, insulin, and pain control.
• Experience reading tele strips.
• Proficiency with antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and pain control.
• Recent Level I trauma experience.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• AHA PALST certification preferred.
• NCCNIHSS preferred.
