Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Flowood, MS. You will join a clinical team in a fast-paced emergency department, providing high-quality patient care across rapid triage, treatment, and ongoing monitoring.

This role emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and adherence to ED protocols. The position offers flexible travel opportunities, competitive pay, and benefits support through a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per ED protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR.
• Initiate patient education according to acute care needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
