Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Flowood, MS. You will deliver rapid assessment and triage, administer emergency treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the ED team to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an RN license, current BLS/ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications, with 1 year ER experience. 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and travel benefits provided.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience required.
• Active RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED stay.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans per individualized needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ED staff to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
