Job summary

TotalMed is seeking Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel assignment in Rumford, ME. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. Travel RNs will evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions in a fast-paced ED setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and NIH. Responsibilities include bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, vital signs, and documenting patient

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Emergency Department RN experience preferred.
• Active certifications ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and patient monitoring.
• Triage and evaluate patients according to ED protocols.
• Document medical history and vital signs; communicate care plans to patients and families.
• Administer IV therapy and manage wounds as needed.
• Maintain supplies and ensure equipment readiness.
