Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift at a Level I Trauma Center requiring TNCC, ACLS, and BLS credentials. Travel experience and Epic charting are preferred, with open campus rotations and no on-call requirements.

The role emphasizes care across adult and pediatric emergencies, STEMI/stroke certification, and a typical 7:00 PM–7:30 AM schedule with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios. Local candidates within 75 miles are not considered.

Qualifications

Active RN license (CT or Compact) required.
BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required.
PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications preferred.
2 years ER experience preferred; will consider 1.5 years from similar hospital or 1-2 travel assignments with 3+ years experience.
Travel experience required.
Level I or II Trauma Center experience preferred.
Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Emergency Department setting, combined Adult/Pediatric.
Level I Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke certification.
Average patient ratio of 1:6.
Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM).
Every other weekend required.
No on-call requirements.
Floating within scope to meet facility needs.
Open to block scheduling.
Assigned to one campus with possibility of rotating to other campuses.
Epic charting system used.
Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of acute and trauma presentations including trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and behavioral health cases.
