Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Level I for a travel nursing job in Hazel Crest, Illinois. The unit is ER with 12-hour night shifts, 35 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in ER, at least 1 year of travel experience, BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. Epic experience, strong IV skills, and rhythm interpretation required. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years minimum ER experience; 1 year travel experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred
• Strong IV skills and knowledge of ED drips
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and EKGs

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the ED from neonates to geriatrics
• Adhere to patient ratios (RN 1:5) and assist surge coverage when needed
• Maintain ED protocols and accurate documentation in EPIC
