American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department in Urbana, Illinois. The position offers a 12-hour day shift schedule, with a 2-week night rotation and a $2,380 weekly pay package. EPIC charting experience is required, and Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred.

Travel experience is essential. Licensed RNs with IL license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year ED experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifikationen

• Active Illinois RN license (full or temp) in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year relevant nursing experience in the Emergency Department
• Documented Level 1 Trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred

Aufgaben

• Position is in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes acute emergencies consistent with a Level 1 Trauma center
• Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:30PM, with a 2-week night rotation required for all travelers
• Required to take 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period, with call response time requiring onsite arrival within one hour
• EPIC is the EMR used and EPIC charting experience is required
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Performs comprehensive patient assessment, develops and modifies individual care plans, and executes patient care in collaboration with providers and families
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation for integration with the healthcare team
• Responsible for patient and staff safety by adhering to and enforcing safety standards
• Provides constructive feedback and collaborates with team members to enhance clinical practice
• Returning travelers may not have assignments longer than one year at this facility without a six-month break before returning
• No travel partners are accepted for this position
• Requested time off may not exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
