MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. This assignment features 13 weeks of travel with 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour work week, offering full travel benefits and housing support.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree, and ER experience, with certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC as required by the client facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Emergency Department for a range of illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention
• Assess, intervene and stabilize patients with decisive action
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health conditions
