Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.

You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, on a 13-week assignment in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting. Active RN license and nursing degree are required, plus 18 months ER experience and current standards in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC as applicable.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients requiring emergency attention and must recognize and treat life-threatening conditions
• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions
