Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced ED team in Houston, TX. The RN will provide efficient triage, treatment, and documentation while coordinating with physicians and other staff.

Requirements include Texas RN licensure, 1 year of ER experience, and active ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC/CPI certifications. This travel role offers 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours weekly, and a tax-free stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Emergency nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC and CPI certifications required or on file.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ED.
• Deliver patient care and document clinical histories.
• Monitor vitals and medications; assist physicians as needed.
• Maintain supplies and record keeping; ensure patient safety.
