Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for an Emergency Department (ED) assignment in Conroe, Texas. The ER RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Start Date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12 hours, evenings. Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities include evaluating, triaging, and implementing care with physician instructions; bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and documentation.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI commonly required for ER travel assignments.
• 1 year or more of acute care experience preferred.
• Certification requirements may be updated before starting the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage, and implement care in the ED per physician instructions.
• Provide bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and monitoring.
• Document medical history, monitor vitals, and report concerns as needed.

Responsibilities

As an ER Travel Nurse you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You will provide bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, provide IV therapy, maintain supplies and medical equipment, and report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. You will also document medical history, check for allergies, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well-being.

Requirements

ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI, 1 Year (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment).
