Job summary
VyTalent Solutions is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Clinton, Maryland. The role is in a hospital setting with a 13-week contract and a schedule of 07:00–19:00, totaling 36 hours per week.
Qualifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, Relias EKG exam success, Cerner EMR experience, triage expertise, and prior ED travel experience. Flu vaccination is required and every other weekend/holiday coverage is expected.
Qualifications
- Successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, & PALS; Cerner EMR experience; triage experience.
- Two years of ED experience in a facility with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within the past 8 months; travel experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume hospital ED setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation and use Cerner EMR system.
- Manage patient triage and provide appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to facility vaccination policies and safety protocols.
