Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Travel Emergency Room RN for Alexandria, LA. This onsite contract is 13 weeks long with night shifts (7 PM–7 AM), three days per week, and a stipend of $1,302 weekly plus $29–$30 hourly pay.

Qualifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and De-Escalation certifications, plus RN licensure in the state or a compact. The unit is a very high-acuity ED serving stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health and sepsis cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current PALS certification required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• De-Escalation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses increasingly complex needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
