Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse for a Sanford, North Carolina assignment. This 13-week travel role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts. Immediate need for 1–2 years recent acute care experience in a fast-paced ED setting.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will evaluate, triage, and implement care under physician instructions, document history, monitor vitals and patient well‑being, and maintain equipment. Certifications ACLS/BLS/PALS/NIH/CPI are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, CPI certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions in a fast-paced ED.
• Document medical history and allergies, obtain vitals and monitor patients.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care; perform IV therapy and maintain supplies.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
