Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Gainesville, FL. The ER RN delivers rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, triaging patients and collaborating with physicians and staff.

Required: 1 year ER experience, RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS/ENPC or ENPC. TNCC/NIHSS/CPI/NRP/SANE are preferred. Excellent communication and clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience required.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED and respond to needs.
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
