Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for the ED in Gainesville, FL. The 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) in a high-volume Emergency Department at a respected academic medical center.

Flexibility to float to different units is required to meet operations. Active Florida RN license or Compact license, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC, and a minimum of 3 years ED experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or Compact license.
• 3+ years of ED nursing experience.
• Recent travel nursing experience.
• Recent work in Level I/II Trauma Center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality acute care in a fast-paced ED.
• Float to different units as needed to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.
• Complete ER competency exams and document accurately in EMR.
