Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Free Standing Emergency Department in North Carolina. The role requires 2 years of ED experience, TNCC, and other standard ER certifications. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM shift and excludes local candidates.

Applicants must hold an NC or compact RN license, maintain BLS/ACLS, and meet facility-specific certification timelines. Housing allowances and travel reimbursements are included in benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• TNCC certification required for ED
• CPI certification required for ER units
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in a Free Standing Emergency Department setting
• 13-week assignment with a 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM shift
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
