Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN-ED) for a 13‑week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, 36 hours per week, and 12‑hour day shifts. Travel status with tax‑free stipends applies; ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC are required.

Responsibilities include bedside care, wound management, IV therapy, and patient monitoring in a fast‑paced emergency setting. Strong triage, documentation, and patient/family communication are essential.

Qualifications

• ER RN with 1–2 years acute care experience required.
• Travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ, 13 weeks, 36 hours/week.
• Must hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC certifications and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and assess patients.
• Clean and bandage wounds; provide IV therapy.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Document history and vitals; monitor patient well‑being.
• Triage, communicate with physician and family, report abuse as needed.
