Job summary

TotalMed is seeking Emergency Room RN travel nurses for a 13-week assignment in Mesa, Arizona. The role requires ED nursing experience, BLS, and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts with a 36-hour work week.

You will evaluate, triage, and implement care in a fast-paced ER, documenting histories and vitals while maintaining patient safety and well-being. Travel nurses receive benefits and weekly pay, with stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ER RN specialty in ED.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients and implement care according to physician orders.
• Document medical history, allergies, and vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being and report changes.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, and IV therapy as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, and report any safety concerns.
• Report suspected abuse to the appropriate authorities.
