Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in West Burlington, IA. The Emergency Department RN will perform rapid assessments, administer care, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Required: 1 year ER experience, RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS/ENPC or equivalent. TNCC/NIHSS/NRP certifications preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
