Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED — Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, ME. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

You will work in a fast-paced ER environment, triaging and delivering care per physician instructions during a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. ER travel nurses perform bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and reporting; they must manage stress and interact effectively with diverse

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS and PALS.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
