Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for the ED in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment runs 13 weeks starting 10/26/2026, with 36 hours per week in 12-hour day shifts.

Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least 2 years ED experience including 1 year in critical care, plus a valid RN license. Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV therapies, documentation, patient education, and potential charge nurse duties. Float may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ED experience with at least 1 year in critical care.
• Valid RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Willing to serve as charge nurse and preceptor if needed.
• Float rotation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay.
• Administer IV medications, therapies and blood products as needed.
• Provide patient education and document nursing actions.
• Teach, observe and respond to patient needs.
