Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 9-week assignment in Decatur, GA. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and the chance to work in a fast-paced emergency department with a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements include 1 year ER RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC. Preferred TNCC/NIHSS etc. The employer emphasizes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and staff.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
