Job summary

ConnectedHealth seeks a Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced setting. You will stabilize patients, collaborate with physicians, and ensure timely care while adhering to protocols.

Must hold an active Alabama RN license with BLS and ACLS. Pediatric and trauma certifications are preferred, and ED experience is a plus. This on-site role offers competitive pay and dedicated recruiter support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama or Compact State.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• 1 year Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with emergency medical conditions.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, interventions, and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care.
• Utilize critical thinking to respond quickly in urgent situations.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
