Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department for a Corpus Christi, Texas travel assignment. The ER RN will evaluate and triage patients, provide urgent care and document patient information over 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Required are 1–2 years of acute care ER experience and certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI). This travel role includes a tax-free stipend and benefits package from TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care ER experience.
• Current RN license and appropriate state certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history, meds, allergies, vital signs and care plans.
• Monitor patient status and provide bedside care in a fast-paced ED environment.
