Job summary
TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, TX. The ER RN will evaluate, triage and treat patients in a fast-paced ED setting, with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week.
ACLS/BLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC/CPI certifications are required, and 2 years of acute care experience is preferred. Travel RN assignment in Corpus Christi offers benefits and a tax-free stipend, with pay and shifts subject to confirmation.
Qualifications
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications required.
- RN with 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
- Emergency Department travel nurse experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician orders.
- Care for patients in fast-paced emergency environment.
- Document medical history, allergies and vitals; monitor well-being.
- Perform bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and equipment checks.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
