Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 12-week assignment in Pontiac, MI. You will work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ED, triaging and delivering urgent care while collaborating with physicians and staff.

This role offers travel benefits, competitive pay, and comprehensive support from Fusion’s clinical team. Ideal candidates have 1 year ER RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort; document conditions and changes.
