Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The role is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour evening shift, with a travel employment type. Immediate needs for ER RNs with 1-2 years of acute care experience and required certifications.

You will evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions in a fast-paced environment, document histories and vitals, and support families while ensuring patient wellbeing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ER or acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH and CPI certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Document medical history and allergies; monitor vital signs.
• Provide basic bedside care; manage wounds and IV therapy where needed.
• Support patients and families; maintain supplies and equipment.
• Handle high-stress situations with professional communication.

Education

ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH, CPI, 1 year ER experience
